Parents, staff and their families will be coming together to take on the Milton Keynes Half Marathon on Monday 4th May 2026. We are trying to raise as much money as we can for Friends of Slated Row School, charity number 1161852.

Slated Row School (SRS), is community special school in Milton Keynes, with campuses in Wolverton and Kents Hill. SRS caters for children and young people aged 4-19 years old with moderate to complex special educational needs.

The school is an inspirational place, giving its students the education, support and encouragement they need to be the best that they can be. The dedicated and enthusiastic school team is always looking for ways to enrich the educational experience for the students and help them develop their intellectual and creative skills, their self-esteem and resilience. One of our aims as Friends of Slated Row is to fundraise to support these wonderful projects. We are currently raising money for 'Thrilling Thursday', a fun day for all the students on the last day of the school year. We are hoping to raise enough money to pay for our older students to go out on a trip this could be to the park for a picnic or to the cinema. For our younger students we would like to hire inflatables, rides and games which would go on our school field.

We are all passionate about giving SRS students the best possible chance of living independent lives after school, with the dignity and respect other people take for granted. If you could help us to help them, we would be hugely grateful.
