The 4th East Grinstead Scout group has girls and boys and is the only group in the area that does greenfield camping. We camp in a field - no facilities and cook everything over fires.

The groups gives children (including my daughter) such amazing opportunities that they wouldn’t get otherwise and it’s amazing to see the confidence they gain from being trusted to do things and work as a team.

However these things cost money even though the group is run by volunteers we need equipment and food and activities to put on the camps! The more we can fundraise the more accessible it is for all members to be able to afford it!

So I am running a 50km race this Saturday to fundraise for the Scout group! It’s going to be a challenge for sure!
