Raising Much -Needed Funds for Rowcroft Hospice...........

Rowcroft provides incredible care and support to families, both young and old through some of the most difficult times imaginable.

I know this first hand. When my stepdad was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, our world was turned upside down. To hear that a loved one has a life-limiting illness is utterly devastating. during that time rowcroft staff were like angels, offering comfort, compassion, and exceptional care when we need it most.

From that experience,I knew I wanted to give something back to help other families receive the same wonderful support we did. I started small, taking part in fundraising events like the sleepwalk and Santa Run. Then an amazing opportunity came along to work for Rowcroft as a Manager in Dartmouth. Everyday, I hear heartwarming stories from peoples whose lives have been touched by the hospice's kindness and care.

Now I want to to even more.Funding is needed more than ever, so I've set myself a huge personal challenge to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in 2026 to raise as much money as possible for Rowcroft!

At 58,this will be an incredible personal milestone.Although I enjoy rowing and walking, this adventure will really stretch my limits and test my determination. I'll be self-funding the entire trip, so every penny raised will go directly to Rowcroft Hospice.
