Story
Sarcoidosis affects around 1 in 10,000 people in the UK. As such, it suffers from low levels of awareness among the public and healthcare professionals.
SarcoidosisUK works to change that. They provide information, support, raise awareness and fund research into finding a cure. This Sarcoidosis Awareness Month, they have asked buildings and landmarks to light up blue across the UK to shine a light on sarcoidosis.
I'm showing my support by ‘Going Blue’ this April! All of the money raised will go towards their mission of improving the lives of those affected by sarcoidosis. Please help me raise vital funds and show your support by donating what you can.
I have been living with Sarcoidosis for over 10 years and the society has supported me in a number of ways. Through accessing their helpline of trained nurses to understand services available, resources to share with employers, and the amazing Facebook group.
