I wish to set myself a wee challenge to help with raising funds for Catwalk for a Cause 2026 in aid of the Highland Hospice.

Each year since our friend and absolute "Wonder Woman "Alison McRitchie launched this special event, we listen, watch and admire each vibrant, incredible model and we feel inspired.

This event is more than just a fashion show – it will be a celebration of courage, resilience and the human spirit. Models will take to the runway not only to showcase style from Highland Hospice’s boutiques, but to share their personal journeys of strength, hope, courage and inspiration.

I am looking to raise pennies by running over a period of 12 days reaching the 1st day of the Event - Friday 6th February and in addition will be providing baking for friends and colleagues for any donations they feel they can give 🙏

The running event is a lead up to Catwalk and the goal is to complete an overall total of 117.5k over the 12 days by an ascending/ descending scale:

1st day 5k/ 2nd day 7.5k/ 3rd day 10k/ 4th day 12.5k/ 5th day 15k/ 6th day 17.5k then on the descent - 7th day back to 15k/ 8th day 12.5k etc etc.

I will be so pleased if anyone would like to join me throughout my jogging/ running – even a wee blether and jog 🙏Any donation you can make in support of the challenge would be hugely appreciated - every penny will be so gratefully given to The Catwalk for A Cause charity event.
