On the 13 June 2026 I am going to complete a 9 mile hike through the Mournes in memory of my friend and colleague Laura May.

We are a team of 4 girls doing this to raise money for Marie Curie, a charity that provides vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.

It was a privilege to have known Laura May and have had her friendship, her love, her support and guidance.

Laura May brought so much energy and life to everything she did that this is something to do in her memory as well as an opportunity for us to give thanks to the care, support and kindness shown by all the staff working in Marie Curie.
