Story
I've danced for most of my life. I've done ballet, tap, modern, jazz, bellydance, Cuban salsa, and even had a brief little adventure into hula dance (on Zoom) in lockdown.
At the age of 43, I re-started tap dance after a break of nearly 20 years, at the Colours of Dance school. Tap was always my first love even though I've had a long affair with ballet!
Colours of Dance run Radiates - a brilliant and very small charity that offers a creative dance programme to children who have experienced challenges in their lives. This include children with neuro-diversities, long-term health conditions, disabilities or adverse childhood experiences.
I'd love to raise money to enable more children to experience the great joy that dance has given me. Brighton will be my second marathon (my first was the London Marathon in 2016) and I'm hoping to dance round the course!
