Running and cycling a Half Marathon in Memory of Albert Bruins 🕊️

On the 28th of September, my husband, daughter and I will be running the Ealing Half Marathon and my son will be cycling the equivalent in memory of my lovely Dad, Albert Bruins, who passed away on the 22nd of November 2024.

Albert was a man of strength, spirit, and resilience. He loved the outdoors—whether it was sailing across open water or hiking up a mountain trail, he was always moving, always exploring, always living life to the fullest.

Losing him to Dementia was heartbreaking and watching such a vibrant, active soul slowly fade was one of the hardest things we've ever faced. That is why we are running/cycling for him and for every family touched by Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

We're proud to support Alzheimer’s Dementia UK, helping fund research, support and hope for a future without this cruel disease.
