I'm taking on the 23 mile Mighty Stride to raise funds for Action for Children with whom I've worked for the last 16 years. I can attest to the high quality of care and support they provide through a huge variety of services including fostering, short breaks, functional family therapy, family support, homelessness prevention, employability, and support for care experienced young people in further education.

I would particularly like to spotlight the vital role our amazing foster families play in proving safe, loving and happy homes for children and young people. It is a real privilege to see children growing to meet their full potential supported by people who love, understand and value them.
