In Loving Memory of Caroline Parker

Paul Lindsell is raising money for The Rowans Hospice
In memory of Caroline Louisa Parker
Rowans Hospice provides end of life care across South East Hampshire. We help improve quality of life for the patient around the clock. We receive a very small level of Government support and almost all of the money required to provide our services needs to be raised through voluntary giving.

Story

20 December 1982 – 16 June 2025

On 16 June 2025, my beloved partner, Caroline Parker, passed away after a courageous 18-month battle with stage 4 lung cancer which had spread to her brain. She was just 42 years old.

Caroline was the most loving, caring, and generous soul I have ever known. Despite the immense challenges she faced, she always had a smile on her face and an open heart for anyone in need. Her strength, warmth, and kindness touched so many lives—friends, family, and even strangers. She had an extraordinary way of making everyone feel seen and valued.

Caroline was also a devoted mother to her three beautiful children–Edward, Bethany, and Philippa–who miss her more than words can ever express. Her love for them was boundless, and her legacy lives on through their courage and spirit.

In her final days, Caroline was cared for by the exceptional team at Rowans Hospice, a place she described as peaceful, comforting, and full of compassion. It was her wish that we raise money in her name to support the hospice and help ensure that others can receive the same care, dignity, and love that she did in her final moments.

Please Donate in Caroline’s Memory

If you knew Caroline or were touched by her story, please consider making a donation–however big or small–in her memory. All funds raised will go directly to Rowans Hospice, supporting their invaluable work providing palliative care to those in need.

Let’s honour Caroline’s life by giving back to those who gave her peace and comfort when she needed it most.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

With love and gratitude,

Paul Lindsell
