Trekking for Julia’s House – Supporting Families with Seriously Ill Children

Hi everyone,

This year, I am embarking on a life-changing challenge to support an incredible cause — Julia’s House, a children's hospice that provides care and support for families of children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. To raise funds, I’ll be trekking for 5 days through the rugged Saghro Mountains in Morocco, camping under the stars and pushing myself physically and mentally. This trek won’t be easy — it's a true test of endurance — but it's nothing compared to the challenges the families Julia’s House supports face every day.

Why Julia’s House? Julia’s House isn’t just a hospice. It’s a lifeline for families who are dealing with the unimaginable. Their dedicated team provides:

- Specialist care for seriously ill children,

- Emotional and practical support for parents,

- Respite care that gives families a much-needed break,

- And a safe, nurturing space where the whole family can just be together.

They need to raise £10 million each year to continue this vital work — and they receive just 8% of their funding from the government.
