I feel very honoured (I think!) to have been invited to join two friends who are taking part in the 2025 Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge on May 3rd. Not quite sure why I didn't switch on my 'are you sure?' filter before saying 'yes' but I am now signed up for the challenge!

So, my aim is to walk the 50km circular loop from Chale and back in order to raise funds for the Oxfordshire Prostate Cancer Support Group (OPCSG) which has been a significant part of the lives of both my partner and I since 2018 when my partner was first diagnosed with prostate cancer. The sharing and learning from those who have the lived experience of this cancer cannot be underestimated and OPCSG works tirelessly to raise awareness and support for those newly diagnosed as well as those whose lives have been affected longer term.
