Story

Michael had run marathons in London, Berlin, Manchester & Edinburgh and half marathons in the Royal Parks, Windsor and Richmond. He was passionate about supporting others and signed up to research to further medical advances. Michael ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon in September 2025 and wanted to run for the Brain Tumour charity.

Michael lived life to the full and continued to do so following a devastating diagnosis of glioblastoma in September 2025. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends doing the things he loved; laughing, walking, playing music, dancing, playing golf, skiing, enjoying good food and wine.

Sadly, Michael passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday 5th August. His funeral will be held at 2 pm at West Norwood Crematorium on Tuesday 1st September. Instead of sending flowers, please donate to the Brain Tumour Charity in Michael's memory.
