Story
Why the RNLI? As sea swimmers, paddle boarders and fair weather sailors, we have come to understand the incredible job the RNLI do to rescue people in perilous situations at sea. We all go out there, into the sea, to have a great time, and then suddenly the unexpected happens. That's when we know that the RNLI volunteers are our life-saving beacons of hope who will battle the elements to save us from an unfortunate mishap.
For that we are grateful and want their life-saving mission to continue through our generous donations which are used for their training and equipment.
My team buddy Monique and I, TEAM CAROMON, are participating in the London to Brighton Bike Ride on Sunday, 15th June 2025. We started our fitness diet and exercise regime about 2 months ago. We've had a lot of fun training, met some very interesting fellow cyclists along the way and discovered some of the best coffee shops in Sussex. The hardest part of this regime has been giving up the social tipple and waking up at dawn to go for a practice ride when the weather decides to present us with yet another wet and gusty challenge!
On the 15th, we pedal off from Clapham Common at 9.30am and are aiming to get to the finish line at Brighton Madeira Drive, at a steady average pace of 12 mph, around 4pm 😎🚴♀️🚴♀️
I invite you to join me in supporting this vital cause by contributing towards my fundraising target of £500. Your generosity will help ensure that RNLI can continue their essential work in saving lives and keeping our loved ones safe. Thank you for your support 💛
Come and meet us at the finish line with bucket loads of red wine 😉🍷 xx
