Story

'The Carols on the Canal Concert' is going to be a lovely event, for the whole community with live music from two choirs and a brass band. It is free to attend. We hope you can make it, if you are able to donate towards our nominated charity, the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), which is part of the NHS that would be wonderful.

What does CAMHS do?

CAMHS helps young people in lots of ways, you can learn about their work on their website. They support young people who are struggling with their mental health.

We came to learn about CAMHS through their sessions with the Forth Canoe Club, where we have been running 'Introduction to Paddlesport' sessions for young people. The Canoe Club is just one of eight activity providers that the CAMHS group visit as part of a programme to discover new interests. CAMHS has a waiting list, and with this fundraiser, hopefully we can help support some of their activities and help more young people. Thank you for taking part.
