Christmas Carol Service 2026

Join us on St Nicholas Day, the first day of Christmas, for an afternoon service of Christmas Carols, music , gluhwein and mince pies, donkeys, shetlands and a visit from Father Christmas himself, to share hope and support for those in need.

This special Carol Service is organised by Joanna von Schenk, Crispin Ward and the University of Chichester Orchestra and Choir and Choir “Lihtar” bringing people together through music, compassion and generosity.

All funds raised will be shared equally (50/50) between two charities: Women Fight for Ukraine Foundation and St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

Women Fight for Ukraine Foundation supports Ukrainian frontline medics and volunteers carrying out vital humanitarian and evacuation work in and near conflict zones. As winter approaches, access to reliable electricity and communication becomes increasingly critical. Donations will help provide essential equipment, including portable power stations, power banks, Starlink communication systems and generators. They help people stay connected, continue lifesaving work and survive in extremely difficult conditions.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides compassionate care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families in our local community. Their dedicated team makes an extraordinary difference, offering comfort, dignity and kindness when they are needed most. Your generosity will help support their invaluable work.
