Haworth Riding for the Disabled Association provides horse riding and horse therapy for people from age 4 upwards, who have physical and/or mental disabilities.

I have been volunteering there for over 6 months and have seen how valuable and vital their work is.

They are currently fundraising to cover urgent repairs to the roof of the stable block and the staff area.

I would like to help if I can, by running my 8th Marathon for them and raising some money to add to the Roof Fund.

I will be taking part in the Pennine Trail Marathon on 26th August. The course will take me past Top Withens, the Brontë Waterfalls, Oxenhope, Hardcastle Craggs and over Worsthorne Moor.

If you can give anything, however small, the horses, the staff, and the volunteers will be so grateful and will be able to continue their vital work for the local community.
