I've been hit hard with the loss of our beloved Anne last year. We are so grateful of the help and care she received from The Kirkwood in her last few months, and we do not know how we would have coped without them.

I'm competing in the Ironman 70.3 in Venice in a few weeks time in honour of Anne and her memory.

I have spent the last 6 months training 12-14 hours per week. The race consists of:

Swimming - 76 lengths (1.2 miles / 1900m)

Cycling - 56 miles / 90km

Running - Half marathon (13.1 miles / 20km)

Your £10 donation could fund a virtual wellbeing session for a patient living with heart failure.

A donation of £50 could pay for specialist counselling support for a patient and their family.

£100 could provide vital support to a patient in their own home from one of The Kirkwood Nurses.
