Hi 👋! My friend Jane & I entered the Great North 10 km & the half marathon. I wish I could be hanging around the start line on Claremont road with her this Sunday-& seeing her smiling at the finish line (she ran like the wind) but so very sadly she took her own life earlier this year. Photo is from 2008 with my sons Dan & Matt-I will wear the same shirt & carry her pic, plodding/jogging along as best I can in memory of Jane.
