Story
I am running the Edinburgh marathon on 24th May - my first ever marathon - to raise money for the incredible charity Teenage Cancer Trust. This is my school's 6th year charity and one that is very close to my heart. If you are able to give to support the amazing work of Teenage Cancer Trust, & to give me a boost during the long hours of training in lovely Scottish weather conditions, then that would be massively appreciated. Thank you. 🤗
Today, and every day, seven young people in the UK aged 13-24 will hear the words “you have cancer”.
What happens next can affect them for the rest of their lives. You only get one chance at being young, and those years will shape the person you become – your relationships and career, your confidence and wellbeing, and your ability to pursue your dreams.
Teenage Cancer Trust’s specially trained nurses and youth workers support young people with cancer every step of the way – from the moment they’re diagnosed, through to helping them rebuild their lives after treatment.
They’re the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need.
