Story
I will be walking a marathon for Annabelle's Challenge for vascular ehlers danlos syndrome and the RNLI . Me and Harry from Injury and Sports Therapy will be walking from Donna Nook to Skegness its roughly 28 miles .
I myself have vascular ehlers danlos syndrome . This year I turned 40 which is a huge privilege and wanted to do another big fundraiser after a few years off doing big stuff due to ill health. So ive stand up paddled boarded 32 miles in a day quite a few times and now im stepping it up by walking a marathon , I struggle with walking so I may have to do this over 2 days the first day being 27th june . Hoping to do it in one day though.
Too many people are still drowning. More than ever we need the RNLI’s help. As a charity, the RNLI depends on our donations so it can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones safe.
RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. The lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands. And the RNLI safety teams and educators working tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.
Thank you.
