Story

We’re walking 25 km for an incredible cause

On the 13th September, me and Wayne are joining Cassie, James, Shawn, and Sharon to take on the London Bridge Trek — a 25k challenge to raise money for a charity that’s so close to our hearts.

We’re doing this in support of the amazing Cora, who has bravely completed her treatment for leukaemia and is now in remission! Despite everything she’s been through, she continues to inspire us all with her strength and that beautiful smile.

We’re walking for Cora — and for all the children and families affected by childhood cancer. Every step we take is filled with purpose.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.

At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you.
