Challenging myself to run my first marathon and wanted to raise money for the amazing charity my mum works with in Ghana called Action Through Enterprise.

This charity works in the rural part of upper west Ghana. It provides a nutritious lunchtime meal for children at school. It has supported local people to set up small business, learn a trade and establish dry season farming.

One of the life changing projects that Mum has been involved with is working with disabled children that have been forgotten in the past. She has been to Lawra 4 times, working with the ATE team, enabling these children to have access to play, education, training and business opportunities as they become valued members of society.

The money I am raising will help support all these projects.
