My good friend Richard Boroczky lost his battle with cancer in June 2026, we bonded over our love of cars I became one of very few people who were allowed to work on his cars.

In 2025 I started cars and coffee at the hideaway cafe at faraday mill, he attended every event rain or shine. He even took my daughter to her prom despite going through cancer treatment and asked for nothing in return.

His last words to me were 'keep these events going, Plymouth needs them'.

In his memory we will be hosting a 2nd st lukes charity event, part sponsored by ocean bmw (Plymouth) to bring you some movie cars - a replica of the 1989 tim burton batmobile complete with batman + a replica general Lee built locally so you'll see this one at other local events.

The more donations St Luke's get the more movie/TV cars we'll get.

St lukes helped him and his family throughout his treatment.

So my thank you to both Richard and St Luke's will be a once a year charity cars and coffee day in Richards memory.
