On Sunday 10th December, University of Northampton Women's Rugby team are due to participate in a 10km walk to raise money and awareness for a charity very close to all of our hearts, Cancer Research UK.
Between 2016 and 2018, 375,400 individuals were diagnosed with cancer. Cancer Research are the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. They fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.
Isobel McDonald: ''This walk is to help all those suffering with cancer. We want to be able to show our way of support for a cause that is close to many hearts''. Our team want to show support for those who have been diagnosed, and to support families who it has affected.
