Story
I am running 10k on 28th September 2025 to raise money to support those with broken hearts and empty arms.
I was born to be a mummy, but I never knew it would happen in this way. And the day I met Tash, I knew she was born to be a mummy too. We were on our IVF journey for over a year and a half creating our miracle baby. I don't say miracle lightly, I have stage 3 endometriosis and an incredibly low egg count. The statistics were not in our favour but our love and determination certainly were.
I knew I was born to be a mummy but I did not know that me and your mamma were born to be yours. Creating you was our greatest achievement, you are our greatest blessing. But my darling girl, somehow us becoming your mummy never made it earth side. You are our greatest blessing and our greatest loss.
Our spare room lays empty and so do our arms. But our hearts will always be full of love for you Miss Poppy Williams. You built a fire inside me that didn't need putting out, not because it doesn't burn but because it burns to fight. To fight for better care for those experiencing miscarriage and baby loss. Something that The Worst Girl Gang Ever know all too well.
The Worst Girl Gang Ever are an incredible charity created by two equally incredible women who experienced their own heartbreaking losses.
I am running 10K in September to raise money for this incredible charity as well as raising awareness for the work they do and to share our story.
Don't ever be afraid to ask us about our greatest achievement because we will always wholeheartedly share her with you.
With greatest gratitude,
Carys Crow.
