Story
Croydon Animal Samaritans currently have 30 rabbits in their care, most are kept at our rabbit rescue. We desperately need to upgrade our wooden runs with galvanised steel runs and doors to enable our rabbits to access space to behave as rabbits should; to stretch, hop and to binky! These runs cost over £600 each but they are predator safe and allow the rabbits to access space 24/7, which is really important.
Our rabbits have been dumped or surrendered, often coming from horrendous living conditions.
Poor Oak, who had long fur, came to us completely matted and he didn’t appear to have a tail, it took 6 hours of grooming to detangle him.
Baby Bluebell was found dumped in someone’s garden, she was only 12 weeks old.
