Story
Casanovas Rugby Club is humbled to partner with Craig Hospital, a brain and spinal cord rehabilitation facility, located in Englewood, CO. Craig is where founding member of the Casanovas, Robert Paylor, began his journey back to health. Following a catastrophic neck injury during the 2017 Collegiate XV's National Championship rugby match, resulting from foul play, Robert was told he would be lucky to lift a piece of pizza to his own face. However Robert had different plans, and the team at Craig believed in him. Following his intensive stay in the facility and years of determined hard work Robert is now a UC Berkeley Haas School of Business Graduate, Motivational Speaker, Husband, Father, and now walking over 500 yards.
His strength and mindset are an example to us all – we ask that you join us in providing support for this remarkable institution. Please donate to support the Therapeutic Recreation Department at Craig Hospital and give others a chance to follow in Robert’s footsteps.
