One day I realised just how much of a blessing I had in my life with my long healthy hair. And how hair affects the way we can feel about ourselves, not that it should be all about what we look like, but it does have a huge impact on our confidence and the love we give to ourselves, especially as a young girl.

I knew if I kept myself healthy, and did all the right things to my hair to keep it in good condition, that it would grow more. Others don’t always get this opportunity, so I felt I could help!

My rule, and oath was that I didn’t want to give my hair to someone in a bad condition or carrying negative energy.

So after years of dying and heat damaging my hair, I decided in 2017 that I would grow the colour out and get my hair back to its natural state, free of chemicals and damage.

It’s now 2023 and I’ve grown it to a point where I feel it is long enough to donate a substantial amount, to make a wig out of.

I will continue to grow and donate my hair until until, and I pray that more of you can find it in your heart to share your wealth of glorious locks.

A child’s life will change because of you! 🙏
