Story
NACOA provides help and support for everyone affected by a parent’s drinking; staggeringly this is an issue impacting 1 in 5 people in the UK. Despite this, many young people face challenges feeling completely alone due to the taboo nature of alcoholism.
We'd love to raise some money for a really worthwhile cause that means a lot to each of us, whilst encouraging conversations around what can be a particularly difficult topic to talk about.
As part of a wider team of 50 walkers, Ciaran, Adam, Sam and Holly will be walking 22.5 miles on Saturday 3rd May as part of NACOA's Big Walk 2025.
We're setting a group target of £500, which would provide NACOA with funds provide a school with a support package for a full year. This would cascade vital information to potentially hundreds of children facing this challenge on a daily basis, who feel isolated, alone and that they're the 'odd one out'.
Thank you for your support!
