I’m taking on the Cirencester Half Marathon to raise money for the National Foundation of Retired Service Animals, a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.

Having had the privilege of seeing the work my former police dog Flint has put in, I know first-hand just how much these incredible animals give in service to others. When their working lives come to an end, they deserve the very best care, support and a happy retirement.

I’m running this half marathon to help support retired service animals like him, who have given so much throughout their lives.

Training for and completing a half marathon will be a challenge, as I have only starting running this year, but it’s one I’m proud to take on for a cause that means so much to me.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean a huge amount and help provide much-needed support to retired service animals.
