Many of you knew my daughter, Jossie. She was the most incredible little girl, with the most infectious spirit, but when she’d just turned 4, she was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer that affects only about 50 children in the UK each year. Over two years, Jossie went through more than any child should ever have to face: 11 rounds of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, a stem cell transplant, surgery, regular blood transfusions, countless scans, and 100+ hospital stays in the UK, Spain and Germany. We tried everything we possibly could, but we couldn’t get her better and, on 6th October 2019, Jossie devastatingly died at the age 6. Since then, we’re determined as a family to keep Jossie’s memory alive and to do all we can to support Solving Kids’ Cancer UK (SKC).

So, in April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon with my brother, Jamie. We’re running together in Jossie’s memory and in aid of SKC. Their incredible work gives families hope, funds vital research, and fights for the day when no child has to go through what Jossie did. Every pound raised will help SKC continue their incredible mission: driving research, supporting families, and working towards a future where no child dies of neuroblastoma or suffers through its treatment.
