PA Speakers Fundraiser for Castaway Goole

Tom Hill is raising money for Castaway Goole Ltd
“Speakers”
Castaway is a charity that works to enable adults and young people with learning & physical disabilities, autism spectrum or mental health difficulties to access high quality arts opportunities. All activities are led by professional artists experienced in working with people with additional needs.

Story

I am raising money on behalf of Castaway Goole, an accessible music theatre charity based in Goole, East Yorkshire.

Believing in the power of the arts to transform lives, Castaway Goole is led by professional artists making performance, creative and training opportunities with a focus on adults and young people with learning/physical disabilities, mental health conditions and autism.

Currently, the charity is in great need of a new set of PA speakers for the Castaway building. The speakers are used by all groups on a weekly basis for performing/listening to music as well as watching films on the projector etc. Unfortunately the current speakers which were kindly donated are old and on their way out. Both the adult and youth music groups heavily rely on the PA speakers to be able to run the sessions to the fullest extent.

The Castaway music group will be performing several gigs over the year to help raise the £900 goal, as well as running other fundraising activities.

Any amount anyone is able to donate will go a long way toward enabling the charity to purchase these new speakers and enhance the fantastic opportunities they offer to their members.

If we are fortunate enough to exceed our goal, the additional funds will be used to buy new Vox and Fender guitar amps, which are also needed in the adult and youth music groups.
