On the 5th of December 2022 we sadly lost our beloved colleague and friend John McConnachie. John was a much loved member of the Castle Water team, who is still dearly missed. Ayrshire Cancer Support supported John and his family through his treatments including providing transport to his appointments along with supporting his family after his passing.

Each year we have completed a Kiltwalk in memory of John and raised money for Ayrshire Cancer Support to allow them to continue to support the local community.

This year, a small group of us at Castle Water have decided to challenge ourselves to take on all 4 Kiltwalks and try raise even more money for this amazing charity!

- Glasgow 26th of April (23 miles)

- Aberdeen 7th June (18 miles)

- Dundee 16th August (20 miles)

- Edinburgh 13th September (21 miles)

We also have John Duncan completing Chris Hoy's Tour De 4 on Sunday 6 September 2026. He will be cycling 56 miles to help raise money for our amazing cause.

Finally we have a group of players joining the Business Fives in Paisley on September 11th to continue to raise money for our charity.
