Crazy Gang is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Castle2Castle Charity Walk · 26 September 2026

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

On this challenge, we'll be walking 30 miles in a single day, from Mumbles to Ogmore-by-Sea, on a route we're calling Castle2Castle.

This isn't just about the distance or the finish line. Every mile is dedicated to supporting the South West Wales Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) – raising both vital funds and much-needed awareness for people and families living with Motor Neurone Disease.

Motor Neurone Disease is a devastating condition that progressively affects how people walk, talk, eat and breathe. It changes lives in ways that most of us can barely imagine, yet there is still no cure. The South West Wales Branch of the MNDA provides invaluable support to local people affected by MND, helping them access equipment, advice, practical assistance and a community that understands the challenges they face.

Walking 30 miles in one day will be physically demanding, but it is a small challenge compared to the daily battles faced by those living with MND and the people who care for them.

If you are able to support this challenge, every donation—large or small—will make a real difference. Just as importantly, by sharing this page you'll help spread awareness of MND and the incredible work carried out by the South West Wales Branch of the MNDA.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity and encouragement. Together, we can help ensure that no one faces Motor Neurone Disease alone.

Please donate if you can, and share this page to help us go the distance.
