Story
On October 12th members of The Casual Birder Podcast Team will celebrate World Migratory Bird Day by participating in the October Big Day.
Our international team will go birding in their local areas and record all the bird species they find, logging their checklists on eBird.
By taking part in this event we will contribute to the eBird research database and maybe help set a new world record for the number of species seen globally in a 24-hour period.
We will also be raising funds for BirdLife International.
By contributing to our team's fundraising you will directly help to save the vital coastal wetlands that threatened migratory birds rely on for the food and rest that provides them with the energy they need to complete their amazing journeys.
