Adopted from China at just sixteen months old, CACH-ALL holds a deeply personal place in my heart. From attending events as a child to reconnecting with the community during my PhD research on the lived experiences of British Chinese adoptees, I’ve come to truly appreciate how vital this adoptee network is.

It offers a powerful sense of belonging to those who have chosen to adopt and many adoptees whose identities and experiences can sometimes feel isolating, providing connection, understanding, and a shared community that helps them feel seen and supported.
