RideLondon-Essex 100 2024 · 26 May 2024 ·

Our aim is to bring together parents, carers, teachers and others in the community who have an interest in supporting Hillcross Primary School. Our main objective is to enhance the children's education. We do this by raising funds to purchase the extras that cannot be funded from the school budget.

Story

As you may or may not know, the two of us are gearing up to take on RideLondon-Essex 100 at the end of May.

For those of you that know us we know what you're thinking - "Have they lost their minds?" Well, the answer is a resounding "YES!" But hear us out - amidst the laughter, snacks, sweat, and probably a few tears, we're on a mission. We're taking on this epic challenge to support our children's school PTA and raise some much-needed funds.

Friends of Hillcross are always looking for creative ways to raise funds for essential equipment and learning resources within the school. As we pedal through 100 miles, and eat upwards of 20 Snickers Bars and all the types of Haribo, we have decided that we will try and raise funds that will directly benefit the school. Every donation, no matter the size, will contribute to the success of our efforts, and most importantly, to the betterment of our kids education.

Our kids deserve the best, and we're willing to pedal our way to ensure they get it so we would love any support you can offer for this journey by making a donation towards our fundraising goal. Your contribution, no matter the amount, will go a long way in supporting our school and ensuring that our children have access to the resources and equipment they deserve.

Additionally, if you also naïvely signed up to this event last year and are also joining the Ride100 event, we'd be thrilled to have you join us in fundraising! We're certain it will be an unforgettable experience filled with camaraderie, accomplishment, a bit of pain, and, most importantly, making a positive impact.

Thank you in advance for your support and generosity. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our children and the future of our school.
