We Raise funds for vulnerable elderly to assist in their general upkeep

Story

Welcome to our CAT Christmas Campaign page! We are raising funds for the Community Action Trust UK (CAT), a charity that provides basic food, clothing, and healthcare support to vulnerable, aged people living in poverty in Zimbabwe. CAT's mission is to improve the livelihoods of this forgotten population by addressing their health and development needs. Sadly, many of these senior citizens face neglect, trauma, and abuse due to economic collapse, corruption, crime, and desertion from family members. CAT's mandate is to help the aged survive and maintain quality of life while upholding international human rights for basic sustenance.

We have witnessed firsthand how CAT's assistance has made a difference in the lives of these vulnerable folks. Currently, we support aged people in neglected retirement homes numbered at close to 148 as well as identified individuals and their families in suburbs in the Mashonaland, Matabeleland, Manicaland and Midlands provinces in Zimbabwe. However, we need your help to sustain our efforts on the ground. Our target amount is £1,500 GBP which will go a long way towards making a difference this Christmas.

Thank you for considering our cause! Your support will make a significant impact on these vulnerable folks' lives.
