Story

Kieran Hartley and Iain Julier: friends, colleagues and keen runners, are committed to promoting mental health, a cause with universal resonance. Our shared passion for running unites us in this endeavour, underscoring the importance of mental health in all areas of society.

Our support for Mind Charity is inspired by their exceptional work in offering advice, support, and respect to those facing mental health challenges. Mind's dedication to enhancing services, raising awareness, and fostering understanding of mental health issues mirrors a widespread need, recognising diverse experiences in various communities.

As we gear up for the London Marathon 2024, we view it as more than just a physical challenge; it's a chance to amplify mental health awareness and fundraise for a globally vital issue. Our participation aims to accentuate mental well-being's significance and the pivotal role organisations like Mind Charity have in building a supportive society.

Our target is to raise £2000 together, a sum set to directly help Mind’s key initiatives, including crisis helplines, counselling services, and support groups. We trust in the impact of collective effort, where each donation, regardless of size, contributes meaningfully. Every contribution is a gesture of solidarity, moving us closer to a society that values mental health for everyone.

We invite you to join us on this journey. Your support, through donations or by sharing our message, is invaluable. Together, we can make a tangible difference in the world of mental health, reaching out to every corner of our society, embracing all in the spirit of understanding and care.
