In a moment of utter madness I've signed up to do the adidas Manchester Marathon on Sunday 14th April 2014. It's going to be a massive event for me so I thought I'd do it memory of people we have lost and raise some money for an amazing charity, The Motor Neurone Disease Association. The MND Association focus on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

I've lost two family members to this horrific disease, my cousin's husband Jepo and my Father-in-law, Jim. Both much loved and much missed.

Please support me while I pound the streets of Manchester at all hours of the day and feel free to give me a cheer along the way. With less than 3months to go, I'll need all the help I can get! My poor knees will never forgive me...
