Rowing is traditionally an exclusive, expensive sport but there is strong demand for inclusive and affordable rowing. The 1863 Club welcomes all, regardless of their financial means or sporting ability. We only ask our rowers' families to contribute financially if they can afford it, which means we rely on fundraising to continue operating.

The rowers of the Club and some of their braver parents will take part in a duathlon (5K run + 10K cycle ride) on Saturday 14 September 2024 in Richmond Park. Raising £10,000 will allow us to keep the club open for another school year: please give generously!
