It’s challenge time again! Last year I trekked up Snowden raising much needed funds for Aiming Higher, a charity very close to my heart and of which I am a trustee for. Aiming Higher have supported my son Jack and our family for many years and the work they do is a real lifeline to many families across Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre.

This year I am tackling 7 wainwrights in the Lake District doing the Fairfield Horseshoe!! I am also going to be joined by my friend Sue, her daughter Ellie and Ellie’s friend Vicky so we are a team of 4 😍

We would be really grateful if you could support Sue, Ellie, Vicky and I and give a small donation to help us raise much needed funds.

Please also pray for good weather and positive vibes to get me up and down those mountains - I am very nervous!!

Aiming Higher support the families of children and young people with additional needs. Without doubt these children can bring immense pleasure. However due to the complexity of some of our children’s conditions, families find it difficult to access activities. Families experience many barriers and can become isolated and suffer further hardship.

We support these families hosting family events at suitable locations, subsidising the cost of activities and providing stay and play groups and counselling sessions at our Blackpool base.
