I am taking part in Dorset Ride + Stride 2026 to raise money for the conservation of St Michael's Church, Over Compton. St Michael's Church is small rural church which is a special place for me, where both my parents are buried, and is in urgent need of structural repairs.

With my husband, son and friends, we will cycle/walk between as many churches as possible in the local area, supporting the preservation and care of these wonderful churches.

Held across Dorset, the event provides vital financial support to local churches and also offers a chance to explore the community. Funds raised are shared between the participant’s chosen church and the county’s Historic Churches Trust, helping to safeguard these treasured buildings for future generations.
