I decided to do this marathon having done two half marathons last year and completely loving them. The training and discipline it has taken to train for this has been incredibly positive and impactful on my own mental health and I feel as though fundraising for Mind will help support a charity that is close to my heart.

Running for a cause that is so prevalent and important in today's society makes the training and pain that much more worthwhile and I know whatever amount of money raised will be going to a brilliant cause.
