Story
Since my ankle injury in 2017 I have really struggled with not being able to go on walks or runs. My main form of exercise became swimming and this has helped me so much. In May last year I discovered open water swimming and now do it on an almost daily basis.
Next summer I’m taking on one of the UK’s most iconic open water swims, a 6.5 km tidal swim through the stunning Aune Estuary in South Devon.
I’m hoping to raise some money for Level Water which is a brilliant charity providing one to one swimming lessons for children with disabilities. These lessons are joyful, empowering, and completely life-changing. I am only too aware that for many of these children, swimming is their only form of exercise, and this is something that is very close to my own heart.
Every £15 raised gives a child the chance to learn to swim.
If you feel you are able to, please do consider donating as it really will make a difference to these children.
Thank you so, so much.
