I will be trekking up Snowdon through the night in memory of my Mum who died from uterine cancer aged 69. My mum had very heavy periods since as long as I could remember, if my mum had got checked her life could have been so much better. She had all the signs and symptoms of gynae cancers.

I'm also doing in memory of my grandmother who I never actually met. She died aged 40 on the operating table in 1955 whilst getting 'fibroids' removed from her uterus....a day procedure, she even went in on the bus and just never came home. No real way of knowing what actually went wrong.

Anyway and there's me, I get polyps in my uterus, on my second removal and biopsy, and Merina coil fitted to balance my too high oestrogen levels....why the polyps grow apparently. The Eve Appeal has helped, informed me on the procedures and they always get back to you if you need to talk to them.
