Mario’s overgate heroes are a local fundraising team who are continuing to raise funds for overgate hospice as a way to say thank you for showing such kindness to both Mario myself and his family at what was the most difficult time of our lives.

This year l have decided to take on my first ever trekking challenge -The inca trail in Peru on the 30th October-7th Nov 2026.

In conduction with this challenge Marios heroes are also holding a big Charity ball event to be held on 2nd May 2026 at Baines Hall Elland in hope to raise more funds for overgate hospice.

Raising funds always gives us such pleasure knowing other patients and their families will be cared for in the same dedicated way that Mario and his family were.
