To celebrate my 65th birthday I decided to join the Thames Marathon and swim from Henley to Marlow. Many years ago We visited the Lamb hospital in N Bangladesh and were bowled over by the poverty and the work that Lamb was doing. The Poor Fund helps the really poor have access to medical help.

I will have to get out at 3 locks/ weirs and hope to finish in under 6 hours!!! Very soggy and goggle eyed!!
