Story
Three Peaks. For the women facing a mountain every day.
This weekend I’ll be climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon. It’s the toughest challenge yet - physically brutal, mentally relentless - and still nothing compared to what women with ovarian cancer face every single day.
As CEO of Target Ovarian Cancer, I meet incredible women navigating surgery, treatment, fatigue, and fear - but they don’t get the option to stop. That's why I committed to a year of monthly challenges: to push myself, to raise funds, and to stand alongside every woman living with this disease.
These challenges began in January with Target 50 - walking 50 miles with my mum to represent the 1 in 50 women diagnosed. Since then, I’ve completed a 10k, multiple Hyrox events, the London Turf Games - and now, on to Three Peaks. I won’t stop here; the journey continues with Metrix, more Hyrox, a 10k, a solo event in Madrid and ending with a team relay in December.
I've set a goal of £1,000, and I’d love to hit that by the time I reach Snowdon’s summit — will you help make it happen?
Here’s how your support makes real difference:
• 💡 Over 51% of UK GPs have completed our training - helping detect ovarian cancer earlier
• 📞 We helped more than 42,000 people this year via information guides and our nurse-led support line
• 🏆 We’re award winning: praised by the BMJ, BMA, GSK and world charities - because we work on three fronts: early diagnosis, life-saving research, and vital support services
Every single pound you donate today will help us train more GPs, answer more calls, produce more guides, and fund critical research - all with one clear aim: doubling ovarian cancer survival by 2050.
